You should not book Tawang as a one-night trophy. The Tezpur road and Sela need a buffer. We usually place a night in Dirang on the way up so you do not walk into the monastery breathless and sick.
Permits come first. We will not confirm a room for a date we know you cannot legally enter Arunachal. That conversation happens on the inquiry, not at Bhalukpong.
Winter closes more than Instagram suggests. If you insist on January, we talk honestly about road risk and a backup night lower down.
