Assam is the hinge of Northeast travel. Almost every Leafyinn trip touches Guwahati — the airport, the Brahmaputra city, the road to Kaziranga or the climb to Shillong.
The wildlife product is Kaziranga: a lodge near the right gate, a jeep timed to the park, a cab that left Guwahati early enough. Tea-country and river nights exist; we add them when you have days, not as filler.

Is Guwahati worth a night?
Yes if you land late or fly early. No if you can reach Shillong or Kaziranga in daylight. We decide from your flight, not a rule.
Kaziranga or Meghalaya first?
Land early → Kaziranga first, then hills. Land afternoon → Shillong first, Kaziranga on the way out. Both are Leafyinn circuits.
