A Kaziranga stay is about the gate, not a spa brochure. Leafyinn picks lodges whose drive to Kohora or Bagori fits the safari you hold. A pretty lawn 40 minutes away is how people miss the morning slot.
Riverside and tea-belt rooms are quieter than the highway strip. We say so in the listing. If you want to walk to a dhaba after dark, say that — the quieter lodges are darker at night.
Most guests do two nights: afternoon jeep on day one, morning jeep on day two, then a cab toward Guwahati or Shillong. One night only works if you arrive before lunch.
We can attach the Guwahati-to-Kaziranga taxi and, if you want rhinos plus root bridges, a Meghalaya continuation. That combination is a Leafyinn circuit, not two unrelated bookings.
Common questions
Which side of Kaziranga should I stay on?
Match the lodge to your safari range. Central (Kohora) is the default. We will not put you on the far side of a different gate without saying so.
Do lodges include the safari?
Sometimes a jeep is arranged through the lodge; sometimes you book the park slot separately. We spell this out on the stay, not in fine print after you arrive.
Is a jungle lodge the same as a homestay?
In Kaziranga we mostly mean small lodges and camps, not a family room in a village. The listing name tells you which.
